I haven&#8217;t tried it yet but will soon! You can try different combinations of fruit filling and fruits in their own syrup.<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 c. coarsely crushed vanilla wafers (about 25 wafers)<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 c. plain spreadable cream cheese (I always use light cream cheese and it will be spreadable if it&#8217;s softened)<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 c. chopped pecans<\/li>\n<li>19 oz. apple pie filling (about 1 can)<\/li>\n<li>14 oz. sliced peaches in syrup, drained (about 1 can)<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp. ground ginger<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 tsp. ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preparation:<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 C). Measure first 3 ingredients into medium bowl. Stir until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. \u00a0Combine remaining 4 ingredients in a large bowl. Spoon into greased 2 quart (2L) shallow baking dish. Sprinkle crumb mixture over top. \u00a0Bake for about 15 minutes until bubbling and golden.<\/p>\n<p>Serves 4.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another from the latest cookbook.
