Ingredients:
Pickling Mixture
- 8 c. water
- 6 c. white vinegar
- 6 Tbsp. pickling salt
- 1/3 c. white sugar
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
Jar Filling
- Jars for about 11 litres
- About 20 large cucumbers (Brad thinks)
- Dill heads/dill pieces (e.g stalk)
- Coriander
- Peppercorns
- Mustard seed
- Bay leaves
Preparation:
- Get the pickling mixture going on the stove to dissolve sugar and salt.
- In each 500 ml. jar (double it for 1 L), add the following:
- a dill head and some dill pieces
- about 4 or 5 peppercorns
- about 4 coriander seeds
- about 5 or 6 mustard seeds
- a bay leaf
