Brad’s Pumpernickel Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/8 c. Water
  • 1 tsp instant coffee
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/3 c. Fancy Molasses
  • 3 tbsp, cocoa powder
  • 1 c. Rye Flour
  • 1 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 c. Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 tsp. Yeast
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Caraway seed

Preparation:

  • Add ingredients to bread machine in order they appear.  Set on Dough setting
  • When cycle is complete, split in 2
  • Punch it down, place each ball in bread pans
  • Let rise for a half hour
  • Bake at 350 F for 35-38 minutes
  • Remove from oven, remove from bans, let cool on baking rack
